All your historical data is preserved. You'll lose access to features above your new plan's tier, but the underlying data stays safe and is restored if you upgrade again.

Is there a free trial for paid plans?
The Free plan is permanently free with no credit card required — use it as long as you like. Paid plans don't have a separate trial period, but you can start on Free and upgrade when you're ready.
What's the difference between Growth and Pro?
Growth is for brands actively building AI visibility — you get Knowledge Graph control, 38 Search Console insights, and CMS publishing so you can act on what you find. Pro is for brands that want to automate and prove outcomes — you get real-time alerts, statistical proof that changes worked, Claude Desktop integration, AI response archiving, ecommerce AEO, and API access.
How do consulting packages work alongside a paid plan?
Consulting clients are set up on the Agency dashboard — the platform's data and reporting becomes the proof of work. You can run a consulting engagement with or without a self-serve plan, though most clients prefer both.
